While full results have yet to be posted online, POLAHS "walked away with the hardware," per their proud coach Steve Natvig. They not only placed 1st Overall for Silver Fleet (winning by 1 point) but also took another award home for 1st in Division (for sailors R.J. Van der Weyde, Matthew Fisch, and Mitchell Smith who comprised the team's "B" rotation).
There were 30 schools from Pacific Coast Intercollegiate Sailing Association (PCISA) competing in Silver Fleet. Silver Fleet Pacific Coast Championships will be held at our own Cabrillo Beach Yacht Club on April 21-22, 2012. Come out and support our peninsula's local teams!
