Parent Organization for POLAHS (POPS) Annual Meeting

Valerie Abeyta began her senior year at POLAHS last month, after spending twenty days of summer aboard the Tole Mour — the largest sailing school vessel (SSV) on the West Coast.

Port of Los Angeles High School (POLAHS) is pleased to share the news of our full term, six-year accreditation granted from the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC).

The California Youth Think Tank (CYTT) summer leader program was held at USC from June 25th - June 30th.

Port of Los Angeles High School defended their CIF Los Angeles City Section small school championship on Wednesday, May 30th with a 6-0 win over Harbor Teacher Prep at UCLA!

Port of Los Angeles High School (POLAHS) 10th grade students passed the California High School Exit Examination (CAHSEE) with exceptional scores largely surpassing local district and State averages.

Port of Los Angeles High School (POLAHS) received a $20,000 grant from the Crail-Johnson Foundation last month – an award that will directly benefit the nearly 10% of POLAHS' population that is identified as intellectually or developmentally disabled.
