Thanks to a $25,000 grant from the Harbor Community Benefit Foundation, POLAHS’ college preparatory Environmental Engineering course will be expanded for the spring 2014 semester! Students will participate in solutions to the social, economic, and environmental impacts of Port operations.

POLAHS students Christopher Rosales (14'), Tiffany Mercado (15'), and Adriana Vargas (15'), graduated from the LAPD Cadet program on November 17th at the USC Galen Center.

Students attended the 2013 PortTech Expo to learn about green technologies with their instructor, Anthony DeSanto.
