POLAHS' garden program was recognized by the Whole Kids Foundation - an organization founded by Whole Foods Market to improve children's nutrition and wellness with the goal of ending the childhood obesity epidemic.

While it's certainly true that POLAHS has changed the lives of many students, these very students are giving back to our community in even greater ways.

On Saturday and Sunday, February 25-26, POLAHS, Palos Verdes High School, and Peninsula High School, whose teams are all part of the Cabrillo Beach Yacht Club (CBYC) Youth Sailing Program, participated in the UC Berkeley Golden Bear Regatta held on Treasure Island in San Francisco.
